Dear All.......

The Cop 15 round of discussion ended somewhat predictably with no
resolutions or commitments to carbon reduction, yet outside the Bella
Centre, activists from horizontal movements, N.G.Os and State
representatives from the Global South opened up a space for dialogue that
sought to challenge the power relationships implicit in the 'official
discourse'.

Avaaz.org - The World in Action

We will be focusing on the main days of actions from Copenhagen and meeting regularly with the Bike Bloc as they prepare for the day of action on the 16th. We'll also be talking to aktivists on the streets and even make a trip to the Bella Centre to hear what the people in the heart of government mediocrity have to say.

Die UN COP15 Klimakonferenz
soll von 7.-14. Dezember in Kopenhagen stattfinden. Englisch wird die
Standartsprache bei der internationalen Berichterstattung sein, aber es
gibt viele Menschen die kein Englisch sprechen. Unabhängige
Berichterstattung sollte für jeden verfügbar sein, egal welche Sprache
Mensch spricht. Bei großen internationalen Ereignissen wie, den NATO Gipfel in Strassburg wurden Indymedia Inhalte auf Deutsch, Französisch, Englisch, Niederländisch und teilweise auf Spanisch übersetzt.

Climate IMC unterstützt die Übersetzung ihrer Artikel damit jeder/jede mit der Übersetzung helfen kann.

Climate IMC hat sich mit Indymedia Dänemark und anderen MedienaktivistInnen für die Berichterstattung von der COP15 UN-Klimakonferenz in Kopenhagen, 7.-18. Dezember, zusammengetan. Berichte von den Straßen und Gassen Kopenhagens sollten bei Indymedia Dänemark publiziert werden, alle anderen Klima-Berichte hier, und wir werden dann probieren in unseren Features die weltweiten Nachrichten in die lokalen zu integrieren.
