Often the think tanks behind the window blinds try to exert influence on decision makers (lobbyism), in order to achieve their goals. In Brussels the industrial lobbyism increased rapidly. In the last years the European Union capital Brussels experienced an enormous growth at the number of new think tanks, which try, to affect the political debate of the European Union. A large number of these new institutes has a neoliberale restaurant agenda on the note and endorses a radical ideology of the "free market". The turn to the right in the European policy over the last years set the self-assurance in motion of the think tanks in Europe [ 1 ] on the basis of the secret strategy paper, which is present Greenpeace, and after searches of Greenpeace the following institutes and persons play a central role in the antique lima protective net work. Committee for A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT Europe) the American Committee for A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) has sister organizations in Deuschland and in Brussels. CFACT Europe was created in August 2004 by the Austrian Neoliberalen Guenther Fehlinger and the German historian Holger Thuss and is part of the international CFACT of network. CFACT Germany is an initiative, which sits down apart with political topics from the ranges environment and development. According to own data the mission of CFACT is to improve "the situation of the earth and all this of their inhabitants." CFACT Germany ranted the book by Paul Driessens "Eco Imperialism", a book against environmental protection as restaurant economics, did not only translate, but also updates.

In the InterNet [ 5 ] the organization spreads a radical anti- Kyoto propaganda. One meets also again on articles of Christopher C Horner of the EEI. CFACT received 382,000 dollar since 1998 from ExxonMobil. In the scientific adviser of CFACT also the Klimaskeptiker Dr. Wolfgang Thuene, as well as Gerd Rainer weber well-known in Germany, which worked in former times for the "general association of the German hard coal mining", and Dr. Peter Doerell, Herausgeber "internationally of the Coal news type character" sit (in the meantime adjusted). Christopher C Horner belongs to persons Chris Horner (EEI) to the Riege of the particularly active critics of the international climatic negotiations.
