The 19th edition of Biketour will take place this summer through the
western Balkans. Welcome to join us on actions and tour through
Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, and a
kick off bike ride alias 'masse critique' in Belgrade. Registration
deadline set for 19th of June - roll along!

The Biketour is an international mobile community that each summer
comes together in a different part of Europe.  It is based on 'do it
yourself -diy- environmental activism'  which means so much as that
knowledge, decision making and work-to-do is shared among participants,
that we like to have a beautiful ride but also try to do it basic (move
by share peddle power, low profile camping, veggie food) and last but
not least: that biketour links with environmental issues in the region
and beyond. This year we'll have extra focus on Climate Change and
Energy. We hook up with campaigns of local groups on the way, share
experiences, have workshops, actions and events... Feel the heat, time
for action!

The 6th of July we'll have a kickoff action in Belgrade on bike
transport for the city, after which we hope to find a sponsored
transport by train to Skopje. From Skopje the actual tour will start,
which will lead us from Macedonia, to Albania, Montenegro and
Bosnia-Herzegovina, to finally end at 28th of August in Croatia, at the
MuM-festival (2008mum.blogspot.com).

Everyone with a bike and some fine energy can join us, for just a part
of the trip or the whole event.
