if you'd like to help out with the Climate Independent Media Centre, there are a couple of options:

Forum
first, post stuff on these forums. simply go to the relevant forum, and click "post new topic".

Mailing Lists
to get on a mailing list, go to http://lists.indymedia.org/, (down at the moment) click the link and subscribe. there are two ClimateIMC-relevant groups:

Imc-climate-announce: Low-volume ammouncement list for the Climate Indymedia working group.
send a blank email to imc-climate-announce-subscribe@lists.indymedia.org to subscribe

Imc-climate-organising: ClimateIMC organising (send emails to imc-climate-organising@lists.indymedia.org, or add -subscribe before the @ to subscribe)

IRC
Internet Relay Chat is old, and still going strong. to join, grab a client, such as X-Chat (linux, windows, mac, unix, BSD) or others (big list available on wikipedia.org) connect to the server irc.indymedia.org and join the channel #climateimc
